 Marriage is considered an important thing in any culture anywhere in the world. Though important marriage can be some people adore it from a distance and shun committing themselves to it. Initially, during the era of the Roman Empire, people got married for political reasons and financial stability. Though it might be the same case for some reasons for marrying in this era, for the most part, the reasons have changed. Today the desire to get married has reduced amongst adults throughout the world. Some people, just don’t want to get married because of commitment issues, whilst others find it hard to get the right spouse for them, either because they haven’t found the right match, or they are not that attractive to attract the other sex. Despite all these reasons, people naturally want to get married, but the action part is still a struggle.  The creation of the duality of sexes by God was far from being a mistake, rather it was a purposeful and divine endeavor to show the uniqueness and different functionalities of these sexes. These sexes are complementary to the other. Through observation, there is plenty of evidence especially in young children where females are observed to be more nurturing, cooperative, communicative, sensitive to emotion, and emotionally expressive. These observations were seen especially playing with toys. Young female children tend to play dress up and have imaginary families where they would be nurtured in the fantasy family. On the contrary, the young male children are more engaged in active and combat style of playing, very competitive and aggressive.   Culture is probably the most important aspect of family systems. It seems to shape the thinking, actions, perspectives of different family systems. There is an evident difference between each family culture because of different life perspectives and past experiences that influence parents to shape their own unique cultures for the benefit of their children. It is also evident that most crafted family cultures intend to make the family a place of growth, where children`s decisions are shaped by the principles embedded in the culture. These unique cultures seem to change slightly or greatly when they are exposed to each other.        One of the basic assumptions of The Family System Theory is that the whole is better than the sum of the parts, this statement makes sense in many ways when explaining the family as a system. Even though a family comprises many individuals, all of these individuals have distinct attributes and characteristics and play a role in the success of a family as a whole. Furthermore, the Family Systems Theory further explains that “As a natural social system, the family possesses its own characteristic, rules, roles, communication patterns, and power structure, it represents an integration of parts such that individuals’ members can only be understood within the context of the whole”. It is intriguing to realize the massive decline in birth rates over years in the western world, particularly the United States. This huge decline has been influenced by various factors most of them associated with the ever-changing and advancing world that has shifted the values of humanity. According to Elon Musk, a tech billionaire, he mentioned that "low and rapidly declining birth rates are one of the biggest risks to civilization". Musk`s prediction of the crumbling of civilization is a cause for concern. One may ask "what went wrong with civilization?"
